Cancellation & Refund Policy
SudhaPath sells access to digital study material, which is delivered the moment payment succeeds. This policy sets out when you can cancel, when a refund is available, what is not refundable, and how long a refund takes to reach you.

1. Scope
This policy applies to every paid plan, pack and add-on bought from the SudhaPath website or mobile applications. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
It does not apply to the free plan, to free daily tests, or to coins, credits or unlocks earned inside the product rather than bought, none of which involve a payment and none of which carry a monetary value.
2. What you are buying
A SudhaPath plan is a licence to access digital content and services for a fixed term. There is no physical shipment, and access is enabled immediately on successful payment — which is also the point at which the content becomes consumable.
Because the goods are digital and instantly available, the refund position below is deliberately narrower than it would be for a physical product, and it is stated up front rather than buried.
3. When a refund is available
You may request a full refund of a first-time purchase of a paid plan if all of the following are true on the date of the request:
- The request is made within 7 calendar days of the payment.
- You have attempted no more than three tests that the paid plan unlocked.
- You have not spent AI mentor credits included with the plan.
If you have used more than that, the plan has substantially been consumed and a refund is not available under this policy. We may still, at our discretion and without setting a precedent, offer a partial refund or an extension where something clearly went wrong on our side.
4. What is not refundable
The following are non-refundable, which is the standard carve-out for digital goods that have already been supplied:
- AI mentor credits that have been spent, and any credit pack bought separately once any part of it has been used.
- A renewal of a plan you had already been using, once the renewal term has started and paid content has been accessed in it.
- Any plan where the refund request comes more than 7 calendar days after payment.
- Coins, streak rewards, referral credits, promotional credits and free trial access — none of which were paid for and none of which convert to money.
- Amounts corresponding to a period of access you have already had, where a partial refund is agreed.
- Purchases made through a third-party app store, which are governed by that store's own refund rules and must be requested there.
5. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the subscription screen in your account, or by writing to support from the mobile number your account is registered on.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the term you have already paid for: your paid access continues until that term expires, after which the account reverts to the free plan. Cancelling by itself does not trigger a refund of the current term — a refund is available only where section 3 applies.
Closing your account entirely, as described in the Privacy Policy, also stops future renewals. It does not refund the current term.
6. How to request a refund
Write to our support address from, or quoting, the mobile number your account is registered on, with “Refund” in the subject line, and include:
- The registered mobile number on the account.
- The plan or pack you bought and the date of payment.
- The order or payment reference shown on your invoice.
- The reason for the request — it helps us fix whatever prompted it.
7. How a refund is processed
We will assess a complete request and tell you the outcome. Where a refund is approved it is initiated through the same payment gateway and returned to the original payment method. We do not refund to a different account, a wallet or by cash, and we will never ask you for card or bank details in order to pay a refund.
Once we initiate the refund, the time it takes to appear depends on the gateway, your bank or card issuer and the applicable Reserve Bank of India settlement timelines. Typically this is about 5 to 7 working days from initiation, and it can be longer for certain instruments. The gateway's reference for the refund is available on request.
GST charged on a refunded amount is refunded with it, and a credit note is issued. Where only part of a payment is refunded, tax is adjusted proportionately.
8. Failed and duplicate payments
If money left your account but the plan was not activated, the payment usually failed at the gateway and is auto-reversed by your bank, generally within about 5 to 7 working days. You do not need to do anything, though you should tell us if it has not reversed in that time.
If you were charged twice for the same purchase, write to us with both payment references and we will refund the duplicate charge in full. A duplicate charge is not subject to the section 3 conditions.
9. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first — it is almost always faster than a chargeback. We will investigate and, where the charge was ours to correct, correct it.
Where a chargeback is raised, we may suspend the account until the bank's process concludes, and we will supply the gateway with our records of the transaction and the access provided.
10. Grievance redressal
If you are not satisfied with a decision on a refund, reply to the same thread with “Grievance” in the subject line and ask for it to be escalated.
Grievance Officer: Ashwini Jain, Aadinath Technosoft LLP, registered office: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Email: ashwini@sudhapath.com. Grievances are acknowledged and resolved within the timelines prescribed by applicable Indian law.
